What is Kōtui Access?
Kōtui Access is a free, community-maintained directory of ADHD healthcare providers across New Zealand. We help people find clinics that are currently accepting new patients, understand wait times, and access the care they need.
The directory includes information about provider availability, accepted age groups, prescribed medications, and contact details—all in one place.
February 2026 Context
In early 2026, New Zealand's ADHD medication landscape changed significantly. New regulations around prescribing and dispensing created uncertainty for patients trying to access care.
Many people struggled to find providers who were accepting new patients or had updated information about their services. This directory was created to solve that problem—providing a single, up-to-date source of truth for ADHD healthcare access in Aotearoa.
Why I Built This
I'm Patrick, based in Auckland. Planning to go into psychiatry. When the ADHD prescribing rules changed in February 2026, it was hard to find clear info about who could still help. So I made this directory.
It's community-maintained and some info will be out of date, but it beats having nothing. Email me if something's wrong: access@kotui.health

How to Use This Directory
- Search or filter providers by region, availability status, age group, or medications
- Check the status badge on each card:
- Green (Available) - Currently accepting new patients
- Orange (Waitlist) - Accepting patients but with a wait
- Grey (Closed) - Not currently accepting new patients
- Contact the provider directly using the phone number or website listed
- Check the "last updated" date to see how recent the information is
Understanding "Verified" Listings
What does "Verified" mean?
A "Verified" badge means the provider or practice has directly contacted us and confirmed their listing information. This is the ONLY way a listing becomes verified.
Currently, most listings are NOT verified. The majority of our directory has been built through:
- Web research (finding provider websites and contact info)
- Community submissions (people adding providers they know about)
- Publicly available business information
For providers: If you're listed in this directory and want to verify or update your information, please email us at access@kotui.health. We'll update your listing and mark it as verified.
For users: Unverified listings can still be accurate and helpful, but they haven't been confirmed by the provider themselves. Always call ahead to confirm availability, services, and costs before making an appointment.
